February 12 of 12 v.3.0

It's time for another super edition of Chad Darnell's 12 of 12! The idea of course is to take 12 pictures of your day on the 12th day of the month. This month we delve into the exciting day that a Tuesday has produced. The good news (or bad, depending on how you look at it) is that we got snow last night...which created several opportunities for pictures!

8:18 a.m. The view from my back door.
8:18 a.m.

9:05 a.m. Yeah, I should have been at work already. I'm not even to I-70 yet....it's the overpass in the background, if you see past the snow/freezing rain coming down.
9:05 a.m.

9:56 a.m. See what driving in snow/freezing rain can do to a windshield. I'm only now just getting to my work exit.
9:56 a.m.

9:59 a.m. At this point, I'm already an hour late for work, so I thought I'd treat myself to my newest addiction....a Skinny Vanilla Mocha latte from Starbucks. I only wish it were a drive thru edition, rather than inside the Giant Eagle. It was cold this morning! Brrrr!
9:59 a.m.

11:40 a.m. Filling out my paperwork to participate in the 5 person relay marathon at The Last Chance for Boston marathon this Sunday.
11:40 a.m.

1:21 p.m. Yeah, it's not looking any better out there...
1:21 p.m.

1:54 p.m. The fabulous Samsung Sch-740u. My lifeline. Texting is a wonderful thing! Doh! I just saw that the time on my camera is about five minutes fast! The beautiful baby on my phone is my best friend Kelly's son Eli!
1:54 p.m.

2:23 p.m. Checking out the draft version of this 12 of 12. I am clearly bored at work and rather than waiting until the last minute, I thought I'd do it at work. :)
2:23 p.m.

3:14 p.m. My mid-afternoon snack. White chocolate raspberry non-fat yogurt! YUMMO!
3:14 p.m.

5:11 p.m. What a difference seven hours and a little rain can make! No more snowy/slushy streets....just wet!

Photobucket

8:32 p.m. The south parking garage at Easton. Just finished grading two of the three assignments my students had to complete this week.
8:32 p.m.

9:01 p.m. I got a little over zealous trying to thaw my Smart Ones Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Sundae. YUMMO!

LOL at the completely melted Smart Ones sundae! That sounds just like something I would do. I'm always forgetting about things like that. Haha.

Glad the drive home wasn't bad! Man, what a pain for it to take you so long to get to work. That yogurt sounds yummy too. Eek!
