146 - Quirky
If you've ever been to La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, you've seen the quirkiness of its various facades. There is a Christmas tree carved in the top of it...I'd say that is pretty darn quirky.

At the Santa Maria de Ripoll Monastery in Ripoll. This pattern bordered the tomb of Bibse Josep Morgaes i Gili.

We went to the grocery store before leaving Foix for a picnic lunch. We decided to stop in Merens les Vales for a creekside picnic.

171 - Cheese
Brie and a fresh baguette became a staple of my European diet. There was simply nothing like it. Yum-mo!

Una Farmacia in Sitges, Spain... I just love how they make the pharmacy sexy with the neon flashing lights!
62 - Exotic
On my trip to Spain, we stayed in Sitges, a lovely beach community about 40 minutes south of Barcelona. It was such a beautiful town.

In Andorra la Vella, we parked little Pepito and began our hike up the mountain. This is just one of many views of the town below...

The cafe in Foix where the nice barrista (do they call them that over there too?!?) pointed out that the window on our Peugeot 107 was open.

Jacqui and Heidi looking at the map to find a way out of France. We just didn't care for it....so we headed on down to Andorra where it was devine!

Aside from the Vatican, I don't know if there is a more iconic church than that of Notre Dame.

May 12 of 12 v3.0
It is that time of the month again! It's time for 12 of 12 as conceived by Chad Darnell. You can check out his site for the rules and lots of other 12 of 12'ers.
So, on to my day....
Early....very early. I turned over and saw that it was the 12th, so I took a picture!
I did not want to get out of bed...
I bought some new make-up this weekend....Bare Minerals. So far, I'm liking it.
I think Twix may be my new favorite candy bar....I just love me some caramel.
The fired trooper and his wife, whose case we took to arbitration last week, sent me flowers to thank me for all my help and effort.
The view of my desk that needs to be cleared by Wednesday....
Driving home!
Dinner! California Pizza Kitchen BBQ Chicken Pizza....YUMMO!
Travel books that I want to return/exchange. I never went to New York and my France trip has turned into a Spain trip, so I want to exchange them for books on Spain and what to do in Barcelona and Madrid.
My needs to be packed into the suitcase pile on my daybed...just waiting to pack a little closer to Thursday.
Barnes & Noble...the site of the aforementioned desire to exchange.

327 - Flight
On the way to visit my nieces and nephew in Manhattan, KS. I was sitting in the next to the last row on my Northwest flight to Detroit, Michigan.
